Updated Oct 2, 2026 · 7 min read

Key points

  • 10 of the 19 recruiters and job boards we checked publish a price; 9 publish no price and ask you to make contact.
  • They charge in different ways: per listing, per month, per campaign, a share of first-year salary, or free. Price the roles you actually need to fill.
  • 1 of the 19 states a setup fee policy, 7 state a minimum term and 6 publish how cancellation works. Get all three in writing before you pay.
  • 2 of the 19 publish a case study with a stated result and 4 name a client, so plan to ask for references in your own market.
  • Ask who keeps the candidate profiles and applicant records you build before you sign.

You can post a role yourself, pay a recruiter to run the search, or buy software that posts it for you. We read the websites of 19 recruitment and staffing vendors on October 1, 2026 and recorded what each one publishes.

AestheticHires is owned by the publisher of this site. It is scored by the same checks as every other vendor.

What does a med spa recruiter or job board do for a practice?

A job board takes your listing and sends you the applicants; you screen and interview. A recruiter runs the search for you. Hiring software is a third shape: Wizehire sends your posting to 100+ job boards and tracks applicants in one place. Some do more than one: JobSnob sells posts plus concierge recruiting, OnCall Medical Aesthetics Recruiting a 30-day campaign plus full-service search, Diamond Accelerator a board, placement and consulting.

6 of the 19 vendors we checked sell only to medical aesthetics: AestheticHires, MedSpa Recruiting, Diamond Accelerator, JobSnob, OnCall Medical Aesthetics Recruiting and ScrubOps. The rest are broader: SalonEmployment, SalonJobs, Spa Staff.com and the ISPA Career Center serve beauty and wellness, Health eCareers and PracticeMatch healthcare in general, and craigslist and LinkedIn Talent Solutions every industry. Medical Edge Recruitment is a healthcare staffing agency with an aesthetics page for Dallas, Aesthetic Recruitment a UK recruiter for clinics and device companies, and DermAesthetic Consulting and Skytale Group advisory firms with aesthetics practices.

Check coverage first: SalonJobs covers only the Northeastern United States, Spa Staff.com and ISPA are worldwide, craigslist the United States and parts of Canada for paid postings.

OnCall's Aesthetics HR Toolkit is $597 on its own, and Spa Staff.com adds VAT to UK purchases.

The other 9 ask you to make contact: Aesthetic Recruitment, DermAesthetic Consulting, Diamond Accelerator, Health eCareers, ISPA Career Center, LinkedIn Talent Solutions, Medical Edge Recruitment, PracticeMatch and Skytale Group. Some describe it anyway: Health eCareers sells 30-day postings plus add-ons, PracticeMatch prices by posting type, number and months, and ISPA includes posting in a one-year membership. A private price is not a red flag, but get the quote in writing.

How should you compare prices?

  • One role at a time. craigslist, AestheticHires and JobSnob charge per post; JobSnob's $825 package covers three positions.
  • All you can post. SalonEmployment's $25 covers unlimited posts for 30 days, and MedSpa Recruiting's $997 is one payment for unlimited posts.
  • Per month. Wizehire's Quickstart is $249/mo for up to 3 active postings and Growth $549/mo for up to 6. AestheticHires also sells slots: $899/mo for 10 live listings and $1,749/mo for 25.
  • Per campaign. OnCall's Medi-Search is $4,750 for 30 days and includes OnCall's board plus 20 national job boards, three social media flights, a targeted email campaign and resume screening.
  • A share of salary. ScrubOps charges 20% of first-year base salary for med spa and front-office roles, 25% for injectors, providers and leadership, and nothing if the practice does not hire, so ask for a dollar example of the fee.

What costs sit behind the headline price?

1 of the 19 states a setup fee policy: MedSpa Recruiting says there are no monthly or per-listing fees beyond its one-time payment. The rest do not state one, so ask.

Published extras include Wizehire's $99/mo per extra job and $349/mo per extra location, SalonEmployment's $10 premium listing add-on, and Spa Staff.com's CV contact details at £250 for one month or £500 for twelve months. JobSnob's concierge fee and OnCall's full-service recruiting fee are charged without published amounts. On support, only Health eCareers states hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm EST.

How long will you be locked in?

7 of the 19 state a minimum term. Four state terms with no long-term commitment: AestheticHires (no contract), SalonJobs (no contract; free to use), Diamond Accelerator (no long-term contract) and MedSpa Recruiting (one-time payment, no subscription). Wizehire offers month to month or annual, ISPA a one-year membership, and PracticeMatch postings in 30-day increments.

6 of the 19 publish how cancellation works:

  • AestheticHires: single listings are fully refunded within 48 hours of purchase, non-refundable after; subscriptions can be canceled anytime and listings stay live to the end of the billing period.
  • Diamond Accelerator: the client does not pay if a placed candidate does not perform; conditions are not published.
  • MedSpa Recruiting: no refund terms published; if the first post gets no matched candidates in 30 days it is reposted and access extended free.
  • ScrubOps: no fee if the practice does not hire; its replacement guarantee sits in the client agreement, period and conditions not on the site.
  • Spa Staff.com: a credit is returned if a chosen candidate is not interested; the site may end its unlimited offer if it believes it is being abused.
  • Wizehire: month-to-month can end anytime with written notice; annual needs notice at least thirty days before the term ends; pre-payments are not refunded.

Can you test before you commit?

1 of the 19 states a free trial: Spa Staff.com, whose job ads are free; you pay only for contact details. SalonJobs is free outright. 6 of the 19 offer a free demo or audit: DermAesthetic Consulting, Diamond Accelerator, Health eCareers, PracticeMatch, ScrubOps and Wizehire. For a board the test is one paid listing; for a recruiter the consult is the demo.

What proof can you check?

2 of the 19 publish a case study with a stated result. DermAesthetic Consulting reports Eden Health Club's monthly revenue up 116% in 90 days and its consultation conversion rate up from 20% to 74%; Diamond Accelerator reports Feelgood Fascia hired two new front desk members after recruitment assistance. DermAesthetic's case study describes its consulting work, not a hire.

4 of the 19 name clients: DermAesthetic Consulting, Diamond Accelerator, OnCall Medical Aesthetics Recruiting and Skytale Group. OnCall's list includes Destination Medspa, Lancer Dermatology, Platinum Care L.A., Lifepath Wellness, Apre Plastic Surgery and Liquid RX. None of the 19 publishes third-party review ratings on the pages we checked. For the rest, ask for placements at practices like yours and a reference.

Who owns the candidate data?

Ownership of the account, the candidate profiles and the applicant records is not something we recorded for these vendors, so ask. Wizehire states what happens when you leave: access to customer data on request within thirty days after termination. Ask every other vendor what you can export, and when.

HIPAA positions were not recorded for these vendors either. These are hiring products, not patient records, but candidate files hold license numbers and personal details, so ask how they are stored and who can see them. MedSpa Recruiting collects candidate license numbers and work history before profiles are visible, and ScrubOps screens for license status and injectable experience.

What should you ask on a sales call?

  1. What is the total cost for the roles I need to fill this year, at my locations and salary levels?
  2. Is there a setup, onboarding or administrative fee? Only MedSpa Recruiting states a policy.
  3. For a placement fee, what salary is the percentage applied to? ScrubOps publishes rates of 20% and 25%.
  4. What happens if the hire leaves or does not work out? Get the period and conditions in writing; ScrubOps and Diamond Accelerator do not publish them.
  5. What is the commitment, how do I cancel, and what is refundable? 6 of the 19 publish cancellation terms.
  6. Where will my job appear, and how are candidates screened? OnCall reaches its board plus 20 national job boards, Wizehire 100+ boards, MedSpa Recruiting collects license numbers, ScrubOps screens for license status.
  7. Who owns the account and the candidate records if I leave?

What does a med spa recruiter charge?

ScrubOps publishes placement fees of 20% of a hire's first-year base salary for med spa and front-office staff, and 25% for injectors, providers and leadership. OnCall Medical Aesthetics Recruiting sells a 30-day Medi-Search campaign at $4,750 and does not publish its full-service recruiting fee. 6 of the 19 vendors we checked sell only to medical aesthetics: AestheticHires, Diamond Accelerator, JobSnob, MedSpa Recruiting, OnCall Medical Aesthetics Recruiting and ScrubOps. The rest serve beauty and wellness, healthcare in general, every industry, or adjacent parts of the aesthetics business such as healthcare staffing, UK clinic recruiting and consulting.
