The short version

Pabau sells practice management software to clinics and medical spas and publishes a starting price of $59 on a per-user model. Zenoti sells a platform to salons, spas, medspas and fitness businesses, and every plan on its pricing page carries a quote button and no price. Both advertise a free demo; neither publishes a free trial or a case study with stated results.

Pricing

Pabau publishes a starting price of $59 on a per-user subscription set by team size, paid monthly or annually. The plans run Solo for a single user, Team for 2 to 3, Medium for 4 to 5, Group for 6 to 15, and Enterprise for 16 or more users, with multi-location support. Prices beyond that are confirmed on a demo call. Every plan includes the full platform, scheduling through reporting. Add-ons include Engage Plus, priced per location; setup, training and data migration fees are non-refundable.

Zenoti's pricing page publishes no prices and names two plans: Zenoti OS, covering the appointment book through payroll workflows, and AI Plus, which adds AI agents, a dedicated Customer Success Manager and SLA-backed priority assistance. Its terms add a one-time non-refundable setup fee per center, and the pricing page lists usage-based billing for voice, SMS and messaging, plus extra photo and file storage at USD 10 per month per 5GB.

Contract and cancellation

Pabau's monthly subscription sits on a 30-day rolling contract with 30-day notice to cancel, and prepaid terms of 12, 24 or 36 months are discounted. New customers can cancel within 30 days of payment for a full refund; after that, prepaid fees are non-refundable.

Zenoti's initial term is set in the order form, then renews automatically in one-year terms. Either party can end the agreement at a term boundary with at least 60 days notice, and the setup fee is non-refundable. Zenoti's site does not state a month-to-month option.

Built for med spas

Pabau's med spa page lists before and after photos, image markup and injection plotting, and customizable consent forms including an injectables form. Its homepage names three customers: Bank MediSpa, Dr. Leah and Balanced Aesthetics by Jam.

Zenoti's med spa pages list injectable tracking by lot number and units, before and after photo management, digital consent forms, e-prescribing, provider scope rules and telehealth. Zenoti's success stories page lists B12 Love as a medspa customer story.

On HIPAA, Pabau's security page says software alone does not make a business compliant; it lists a compliance toggle, access controls, audit logs and encryption. Zenoti says its product is designed to support HIPAA compliance, with a BAA available.

Support: Pabau lists live chat, tickets, video calls, WhatsApp and phone, 24 hours a day, plus managed migration of client, appointment and financial records. Zenoti lists phone, a help center and chat, with 24/7 global support, and says most customers are running in days to weeks. Pabau names integrations including Xero, Stripe and Zapier; Zenoti's site does not publish an integrations list.

Which one to look at first

Look at Pabau first if you want a published starting price, a rolling monthly contract with a stated refund window, and a choice of support channels.

Look at Zenoti first if the clinical list is what you are buying: published med spa features include e-prescribing, injectable lot tracking, provider scope rules and telehealth. Expect a quote process, a per-center setup fee and one-year automatic renewals.

Whichever you shortlist, ask how you would export your data if you leave; neither site answers that. Ask both for a copy of the BAA before you go live. The rest of the category is in practice management software.

Scores count what each vendor publishes, not how well it performs. How we score.
